'Farmer for a Day' at Mangold Ranch

Our 'Farmer for a Day' program is a chance to slow down, unwind, and experience the rich outdoor life of the Niagara region. This half-day experience is great for your family day trip, girl scout troupe, group home, or corporate outing. Let us show you a slice of our world!

Your tour includes:

-A comprehensive tour of our barns and pastures, tailored to the season, where you will learn about how we manage the land and about the amazing wildlife that also calls the ranch home

​

-A horse training demonstration by our professional horse trainers

​

-A 'meet and greet' with ranch favorite horses were you can pet, learn about tack and equipment, and get up close and personal!

​

-Then, have a riding experience guided by our horse trainers*

*Driving experiences are offered for participants who are physically unable or do not wish to ride

​

-A tour of our poultry operation and gardens, where you will learn what goes into raising over 100 chickens! Afterwards, learn more about our gardens where we grow some of the food for our family and animals

​

-Take a snack break! 'Taste the region' with offerings from our local WNY neighbors, and learn about seasonal agriculture offerings in the Niagara region

​

-Get up close and learn about our tractors and other diesel equipment

​

-Meet and greet with our ranch dogs, who are an important part of the operations here at the ranch

-Then watch a ranch dog demonstration with a simulated hunt for critters!

​

Tours are offered for groups of 5+ and are $80/person. They last 4+ hours, or about a half day. Children under 5 are FREE!

We offer hayrides for groups of 15+ people as part of your farm tour experience!
